Webcam & Microphone

Pane Studio lets you capture both your webcam video and your microphone audio at the same time.

Microphone

To record a microphone audio, click on the microphone icon and choose the Mic you want to use.

The thin white line beneath the mic symbol acts as a live sound indicator, it lights up when your microphone is picking up audio.

Webcam

To start recording with your webcam, click the camera icon and pick the device you’d like to use.

After choosing your camera, a live preview will appear on your screen.

This preview stays visible while you’re recording, but it won’t be saved exactly as you see it. Even if the preview overlaps part of your screen, don’t worry - the covered area will still be fully captured in the final recording.

Once you’re done recording, you can adjust the webcam clip during editing. You’re free to resize it, reposition it, change its layout, or even mirror the camera view.
